"We are already discussing the third dose of the vaccine, the so-called booster," the Deputy Minister of Health Tamar Gabunia stated about it at the sitting of the Parliamentary Committee on Finance and Budget.
Gabunia explains that savings are expected in the testing part next year if the vaccination process is effective.
"The main groups that need many resources for testing, business groups, in particular, will no longer need systemic testing, in case of vaccination.
Next year some savings are expected in the testing part if the vaccination process will be effective, but next year too, we will have to mobilize some resources for vaccination.
This year we have a 60% target, but 60% does not mean that the remaining 40% should not be vaccinated. The vaccination program should be extended next year as well," Gabunia said.
