A Tbilisi-Zugdidi train derailed. No one was left injured due to the incident.
All the passengers have already been evacuated.
"On the Khashuri-Zestafoni section, near the village of Marelisi, the fourth car of the train moving from Zugdidi to Tbilisi went off the rails for still unknown reasons. No harm done. At this stage, the company's main task is the safety of passengers and their transfer to another train. The company has already dispatched an additional train to Marelisi. The Georgian Railway apologizes to passengers for the inconvenience and delay. The causes of the incident are being investigated," the Georgian Railway said.
