Tea Tsulukiani, the Minister of Justice thanks Salome Zurabishvili, the President of Georgia, for pardoning the convicts on the Annunciation.
According to her, the pardoned were in prison for non-violent crimes. In the past, none of them had been convicted.
"Today, the President of Georgia made the children happy, the minors, who have been waiting for months and years for the return of their mothers," the Minister said.
The President of Georgia issued an act of pardon in connection with the Annunciation and pardoned nine convicted women.
