Two patients infected with coronavirus got admitted to Vakhtang Botchorishvili's clinic. The director of the clinic's supervisory board made a statement about the new cases.
According to Maka Sologhashvili, both cases are from the Saburtalo cluster. They are from the quarantine zone and do not pose a threat.
"42 patients are undergoing treatment in the boxed sectors. Of these, 23 patients tested positive on COVID-19, five of them are children, and the rest are adults. We are waiting for the recovery of one teenager and three adults," Sologashvili said.
According to the Supervisory Board director, there is one seriously ill patient in the clinic who has concomitant diseases.
"One patient is suffering from chronic diseases, the condition of the other patients is satisfactory," Sologashvili noted.
Four new patients tested positive on coronavirus in Georgia, while six patients recovered. According to stopcov.ge, 805 people have COVID-19 in the country, of which 650 already recovered.
