NCDC head Amiran Gamkrelidze said that a million doses of Pfizer coronavirus vaccine are expected to arrive in Georgia by the end of July.
Mr. Gamkrelidze said that the corresponding infrastructure to store the vaccine would also be built in the regions.
''Pfizer has changed storage condition recommendations. If they could store the vaccine for five days only at 2-8 degrees, they can now do so at 30 degrees. We can resolve all logistics-related issues easily, and we are now working on the required program to receive a million doses of Pfizer expected to arrive in the country in the third quarter of the current year,'' Mr. Gamkrelidze declared.
In Gamkrelidze's words, Pfizer will be available for all.
