Research shows that coronavirus-recovered patients experience side effects, according to Tengiz Tsertsvadze, the head of Tbilisi's infectious diseases, Aids, and immunology research center.
In Tsertsvadze's words, COVID-19 affects the lungs, heart, veins, and brain.
"We have already drawn up a project, which must first be discussed by the health ministry and the government. The project needs further financial support. We plan to subject recovered patients to medical examination," Tsertsvadze said, adding that coronavirus-recovered patients have not yet visited hospitals with health complaints.
