A murder took place in the village of Akhalkalaki, Kaspi Municipality.
Law enforcers arrested L.Kh., born in 1995, on charges of premeditated murder.
"The investigation has established that the accused L.Kh., who was under the influence of alcohol, wounded three people using a cold weapon on August 6 of this year, in Kaspi Municipality, on the ground of a dispute, and fled the scene. The ambulance took all three wounded to medical facilities. One of them, G.G., born in 1971, died within minutes of being taken to the clinic," the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.
The police arrested the accused in hot pursuit a few hours after the incident, according to the agency.
The fact of premeditated murder is being investigated under Article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
The offense carries a maximum sentence of 7 to 15 years in prison.
