An Armenian citizen has been arrested for selling a large number of counterfeit excise stamps.

According to the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance, the accused sold more than 3 000 counterfeit excise stamps in Tbilisi for 2,700 dollars.

An Armenian citizen was detained during the sale.

The detainee faces up to six years in prison.
