The confrontation that started late last night in the village of Karajala, Telavi Municipality, ended with the transfer of three people to a hospital.
According to locals, the conflict started when two groups of young people first verbally and then physically assaulted each other.
Up to 15 citizens gathered on the road, who had verbal and physical confrontations with each other, were called to maintain law and order.
However, the parties did not obey the lawful calls of the police and verbally and physically assaulted the law enforcers. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in addition to the persons involved in the quarrel, police officers also received various injuries.
