Employees of the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, as a result of the works carried out in Adjara and Guria, started criminal proceedings against four persons for making and selling forged official documents.
The investigation established that the representatives of the driving school registered in the regions of Adjara and Guria, in exchange for money, prepared and confiscated fake certificates confirming the completion of various categories of training courses required for obtaining a driving license but did not actually train citizens within the relevant training course.
The investigation is underway under the first part of Article 362 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages imprisonment for up to 3 years.
