An Indian citizen has been arrested in Tbilisi, as he faces charges with unauthorized access to software systems, computer data, and illegal use.

Georgia's Interior Ministry reports that the detainee created a fake webpage similar to the Internet bank page of one of the commercial banks and sent its link to the same bank customer.

Therefore, he gained access to the customer's data and transferred 9,500 GEL from his account while removed 6,084 GEL from ATM.

The detainee faces three to five years in jail.
