According to the MIA of Georgia, law enforcement officers have charged previously convicted B.G. (DOB 1994) for attempted murder.
Investigators learned that B.G. inflicted stab wounds upon a man, known only as L.S. (DOB 1999). near Abkhazia's Education Center on 29 May and fled the crime scene.
The victim was hospitalized for treatment and operated on instantly. He is now in serious condition.
Law enforcement officers identified the defendant and charged him in absentia on 31 May 2021. On 2 June, he was put on the wanted list.
The investigation of the case is underway, with the perpetrator facing intentional homicide charges and from seven to 15 years prison sentence.
