A 44-year-old man was shot on Rustaveli Street, Zugdidi. He is currently undergoing surgery in Zugdidi Referral Hospital. Sulkhan Orzhonia, the manager of the Hospital told report.ge.
According to him the patient's condition is stable.
"The gunshot wound is on the left heel", Orzhonia said.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the investigation was launched under Article 117 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which involves deliberate serious damage to health.
