American company Uber has signed an agreement with Hertz Corporation. Uber taxi drivers can rent 50 000 Tesla electric cars from Hertz, Bloomberg writes.
According to the publication, Hertz has ordered 100 000 electric cars from Tesla, with a total value of $ 4.2 billion.
Uber drivers use their cars, although, from November 1, they will be able to rent Tesla electric cars. According to Bloomberg, this should be an attractive proposal to drivers.
Under the agreement, drivers will pay $ 334 a week for renting a car. Gradually this amount will fall to $ 299.
