The audit on implementing the decisions made at the 12th session of the Ukraine-Azerbaijan Joint Intergovernmental Commission was conducted, the Embassy of Ukraine in Azerbaijan states. According to the agency, during the visit of the Government of Ukraine representatives, the Deputy Prime Minister Oleksii Reznikov to Baku, the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Vladyslav Krykliy, met with the Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov.
"The main directions of economic cooperation between Ukraine and Azerbaijan are energy, agriculture, road transport, tourism, privatization of state-owned enterprises. Both countries' main task is to continue comprehensive work to support foreign trade operations and develop investment activities in functional and sectoral projects. The parties aim to improve the quantitative indicators of the foreign economic activity of both countries and to increase the quality of services in the business environment. Further activities of investors in energy, transport, and other economic cooperation have been identified," the statement reads.
Ukrainian companies will be involved in the reconstruction of Karabakh.
