In June 2020, the generation of electricity equaled 2 153.7 mln kWh in Azerbaijan, while the import rate totaled 9.3 mln kWh, report.az says.
Under the data provided by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Energy, the power generation in Azerbaijan increased by 14.1 mln kWh, exports increased by 61.5 mln kWh, and imports declined by 9.9 mln kWh.
The electricity generation rose by 65.2 mln kWh in Jan-June 2020 than in the same period of 2019 and reached 1,250.2 mln kWh.
Notably, Azerbaijan is the largest energy supplier in Georgia.
Following the last month's data, Georgia bought the most volume of power from Azerbaijan.
