In the first quarter of 2021, Azerbaijan exported about 7.3 million tons of oil (including condensate). According to the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan, 6.9 million tons come from the consortium, and 370 thousand tons are the share of SOCAR. During the first three months of 2021, oil exports (including condensate) decreased by 320 thousand tons, or 4%, compared to the same period in 2020.

Azerbaijan produced petroleum products worth AZN 810.3 million, which is 13% less than a year ago. Azerbaijan exported more than 91 mln oil products in the same period. During the first three months, the country produced 108,000 tonnes of gasoline for the petrochemical industry, 103,500 tonnes of kerosene, 8,900 tonnes of tons of fuel oil, and 64,900 tonnes of petroleum coke. Petroleum gasoline production increased by 64.9%, petroleum coke production by 9.3%, while oil production decreased by 29.4%, and fuel oil production by 67.8%.
