The banking sector share against the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) shows one of the highest indicators, and the growth trend will continue.
As Statistics Expert Soso Archvadze tells report.ge, the financial sector's role growth in GDP links with the activation of the service field role.
He says it is a global trend, characteristic of all countries.
''In all developed countries, including Georgia, the financial-banking sector share is highest, and it is normal,'' he says.
In his words, the financial sector has fewer employees than – agricultural field, but the financial industry does not significantly leg behind the agricultural area by creating VAT.
As Archvadze declares, the financial sector develops dynamically.
The banking sector assets reached 98.3% against GDP. The ratio of deposits to GDP is 57.4%, while the loans' rate equals 67.4%.
