Bermuda Supreme Court grants Ivanishvili's demand

Based on the decision of the Civil Cases Chamber of the Supreme Court of Bermuda, the Swiss Bank must expose internal documents concerning the process on the case ''Bidzina Ivanishvili Against Credit Suisse.''

The court proceedings are underway for more than a year.

The court dispute applies to the personal insurance instalments on behalf of Bidzina Ivanishvili and his family members.

Ivanishvili submitted a $755 million insurance instalment in Credit Suisse Life in Bermuda.

In 2015 Ivanishvili discovered that $400 million vanished.

The Georgian billionaire presented a lawsuit against the bank.

The court proceedings showed that the financial crime was related to the fraud operations conducted by his former personal banker in Credit Suisse, Patrice Lescaudron.

Geneva Court sentenced Patrice Lescaudron to imprisonment for the financial violations in 2018.

Lescaudron pleaded guilty. He confessed that he had been falsifying Ivanishvil's facsimile since 2008 and signed deals without any authorization from Ivanishvili.

The bank management says it had nothing in common with Patrice Lescaudron's activities as he acted individually, but Bidzina Ivanishvili does not believe in the bank's statement.
