Shares of Virgin Galactic fell 4% after the company's founder, Richard Branson, sold part of his stake, Bloomberg writes.
According to the publication, the company sold 15.5 million shares (about 6% of the capital) for $ 300 million.
After selling the shares, Branson still has an 11.9% stake in the company and is still the largest shareholder.
In August 2021, Branson sold $ 322 million worth of stock.
According to Forbes, the entrepreneur's fortune is now estimated at $ 4.1 billion.
The company is designed for space flights. The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has completed an investigation into Virginity Galactic's Unity suborbital flight and allowed space flights to continue.
