A meeting has been held between Beka Odisharia, the Chief of Friendship group of Turkey with parliament, and Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Georgia Fatma Ceren Yazgan. At the meeting, they said that the Turkish investors' circle is set to become wider in Georgia.
The two parties focused on the cooperation between the friendship groups of the two countries' parliaments and the issues related to attracting more Turkish investments in Georgia.
In Beka Odisharia's words, the first meeting between the friendship group members and large Turkish investors in Georgia has already been scheduled.
''Turkish investments constitute elements of utmost significance for the development of our economy. I can see great prospects in this field as Turkey is among regional leaders, inter alia with its economy, and it is also our strategic partner. We intend to schedule our MPs' visit to Istambul,'' Mr. Odisharia said.
