The construction of the Government City announced by Giorgi Kvirikashvili, the former Prime Minister of Georgia in 2017 is no longer a priority. Natia Turnava, the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia told reporters that the Government has other plans.
"We prefer to spend our budget resources on pensions, salaries, social programs, road construction and spend less on government buildings", the Minister said.
