“Another rating agency has left Georgia’s sovereign credit rating at the BB level,’’ Georgian Minister of Economy Natia Turnava stated.
In her words, Georgia had such a rating before the novel coronavirus pandemic.
“It is an essential indicator that despite global pandemic and epidemic-caused difficulties, rating agencies and foreign investors trust in Georgia-conducted reforms and stability of the future path of the reforms,’’ Turnava declared.
Minister Turnava also added that conducted reforms, efficient anti-pandemic measures, devotion to the reforms’ path represent the basis enabling the rating agency to maintain the old rating.
