Citizens of EU countries will be able to use mobile services in all European countries until 2032 at no extra cost.
The European Parliament, the European Commission, and the Council of the European Union have reached an agreement on this issue, Politico news agency writes.
The parties agreed to extend the rules and add a package of commitments for mobile operators to ensure the quality and speed of calls, text messages, and mobile internet usage between EU countries.
The new decree will enter into force on July 1, 2022, and will be valid until the end of June 2032.
