An agreement on Air Traffic was signed on February 4, 2021, between the Government of Georgia and the Government of South Korea in Seoul, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs report.ge.

Kang Kyung-wha, the Foreign Minister of South Korea and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Republic of Korea, Otar Berdzenishvili, signed the agreement.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the agreement will contribute to the expansion of international air traffic, the importance of establishing a friendship, mutual understanding, and cooperation between the people of the two countries, as well as the development of tourism, trade, and economic relations.

Georgia and South Korea plan to start free trade. The parties will explore the possibility of free trade between the two countries.
