A Japanese TEPCO Renewable Power (TEPCO RP) company has purchased 31,4% in one of the most extensive projects underway in the power system of Georgia.
As reported by Director of the Produce in Georgia agency, Mikheil Khidureli, Georgia has received the most substantial Japanese investment, and it is a step to attracting other investments from Japan.
''When a huge company operates in Georgia, it guarantees other Japanese investments that the country is safe,'' he said.
It is the second investment made by TEPCO RP outside Japan.

The first country that received their investment was Vietnam.
The Japanese company plans to send high-qualified employees to Georgia to share their experience with the Georgian colleagues.
''The exchange of experience and prospects will increase the project efficiency,'' Khidureli said.
