As the National Statistics Office of Georgia reports, in January-June 2020, the products exported from Georgia (excluding undeclared ones) equaled 1,503.4 million USD, which is 16.0% less than in the same period 2019.
Exports without re-exports (local exports) totaled 71.7% of total exports.
This rate decreased by 3.0% and equaled 1,078.1 million USD.
In January-June 2020, the share of the ten largest countries to which Georgia exports its products amounted to 80.5%.
The top three of these countries included:
China - 197.9 million USD
Russia - 167.3 million USD
Bulgaria - 161.6 million USD
In January-June 2020, of the commodity groups in the top ten local exports, copper ores and concentrates ranked first - 332.4 million USD.
The share of this product group is 30.8%.
Ferroalloys, with 117.1 million USD (10.9% of total local exports), ranked second.
Natural grape wines, with 91.0 million USD (8.4% of total local exports), ranked third.
