According to the National Statistics Office, Georgia sold 28,053.8 tons of fertilizer to the Republic of Azerbaijan in the first eight months of the current year.
The main part of the fertilizers exported to Azerbaijan comes from nitrogen fertilizers. In January-August, 28,026.5 tons of mineral or chemical nitrogen fertilizers worth $ 4,557.5 thousand were exported from Georgia to Azerbaijan under trademark 3102. Most of the exports got transported by railway and a small amount by road. Exports are divided into eight months.
As for nitrogen-potassium and phosphorus-containing fertilizers, in the first eight months of this year, Georgia sold 1.5 tons of fertilizer for export to Azerbaijan under trademark 3105. The value amounted to 4.5 thousand dollars. The cargo entered Azerbaijan by road.
25.8 tons of animal or vegetable fertilizers worth 45.8 thousand dollars were exported from Georgia to the neighboring country under the trademark 3101. Exports were conducted by road.
