As of trade data, Georgia has significantly increased butter exports to Azerbaijan. As Georgia's National Statistics Office reports, in 2020, Georgia sold 480 tonnes of butter in Azerbaijan.
The indicator considerably increased compared to 2018, when Georgia provided Azerbaijan with 12.2 tonnes of butter of 83.3 thousand USD.
Notably, butter exports are not detected from Georgia to Azerbaijan in 2019 and 2017, while in 2016, Georgia provided Azerbaijan with 25.0 tonnes of butter and received 97.4 thousand USD.
Georgia exported even high butter volume in 2015, as it sold 94.5 tonnes of butter in exchange for 410.0 thousand USD.
The product export is underway only by vehicles.
Georgia exported butter smoothly to all months of 2020 but not in January and June.
Exports to Azerbaijan from Georgia dropped by 6.1% compared to 2020.
