Georgia showed a record export rate in entire export and, namely, in the export to the EU.

According to the National Statistics Service of Georgia, the country exported wine of 223 million USD value, that means 13.2% growth.

The other products rates are as follows:

Mineral and natural water export:133.5 million USD, that has been the highest rate since 2014 with 21.2% growth;

Hazelnut export growth: 67 million USD with 10.6% growth;

Clothes export: 56.9 million USD, a record rate with 53.2% growth;

Citrus export: 21 million USD, a record rate with 44.4% growth;

Peach, apricot, cherry, plum, and damson export:13 million USD, a record rate with 53.2% growth;

Spice export:11 million USD, a record rate with 24.7% growth;

Apple, pear, and quince export – 5 million USD, a record rate with 210% growth.

As reported, the 2019 trade deficit decreased by 489 million USD, while the export volume reached 3.8 billion USD.
