''We plan to declare certain tourist zones as 'pure' from the coronavirus; namely, Sairme, Tskaltubo, Gudauri,'' Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia said during his meeting with hotels and tourist companies' officials.
In his words, Adjara is vast for it, but specific rules might also apply there.
''We will start lifting economic restrictions from tourism. It will be followed by agriculture, construction, industry, education, and medicine,'' he says.
'It means that tourism was affected by the novel coronavirus most,'' he claimed, adding Georgia will be one of the first countries with safe tourism.
In his words, many hotels have developed skills in managing the virus spreading risks, for they are the quarantine areas.
PM Gakharia emphasized that the novel coronavirus gave a chance to Georgia, and the country should enjoy the opportunity.
Gakharia says the people should get accustomed to working in a remote mode to support the economic revival.
