Georgian dried fruits Chikori will be sold in Lithuania in the German supermarkets chain LIDL. The brand has just gained the right to sell. Giorgi Kvirikadze, the Founder of Kareli Fruits says that Georgian products will be sold to LIDL 40 networks and in the future will be added to Polish networks. 6 species, in total 50,000 dried fruits will be exported to Lithuania. The sale price is yet unknown.

“We have been preparing for this export for 6 months. We underwent all the controls mechanisms. The product was analyzed and quality checked. The last stage was the tasting where the customer's reaction was assessed and after that we received the first order. If consumers like the product, LIDL will sell it to Poland and Estonia as well”, Kvirikadze said.

The German supermarket chain LIDL is represented by over 10,000 operating outlets, mainly throughout Europe.
