Georgian startupper Giorgi Nazadze has employed about 20 pensioners in his company as sewers of caps.

As Nazadze reports, ten out of the employees live in the home for the old.

The company makes only caps currently but plans to make the product more diverse. The older people working in the company will sew scarves, gloves, pullovers, and socks.

Company head Giorgi Nazadze is studying the European market and plans to open shops there in three years.

He says that he deliberately named his start-up business as ''Bebias'' (Grandma's) and employed the pensioner women.

''Georgian grandmas sew with special love and care. We entered the market for about a month and a half ago and sold 300 caps already. We produce 50-60 caps per week,'' he says.

''We will meet next year with 2,500 caps, and I will be able to employ more grandmas,'' Nazadze stated.
