''We talked regarding rather important issues,'' TBC Bank Director-General Vakhtang Butskrikidze said after the meeting with PM Irakli Gharibashvili.
In Butskrikidze's words, they discussed different pressing questions, important business-related matters, and issues of national significance, including the field of education, agriculture, and industry.
''We focused on the field of education, state sector bureaucracy, and business-related changes, which must definitely be introduced. We made a reference to agriculture and put proposals for the development of this industry on the table. We decided that it was not a one-time meeting, and we will conduct regular meetings,'' Mr. Butskhrikidze stated.
Business representatives have presented a ten-item plan to the PM.
Authorities and business representatives discussed the devaluation of the GEL and decided to hold another meeting to examine this issue closely.
A special council centering on economic issues is also set to be formed.
