Employees of the railway administrations of Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Kazakhstan launched shipping aluminum from Kazakhstan.

The cargo, belonging to JSC Kazakhstan Electrolytic plant poses to export from the town of Pavlodar to Poti port, Georgia.

As the affiliate of Azerbaijani Railways, ADY Express reports, following the project, the aluminum is being loaded in closed wagons in Kazakhstan.

Afterward, the cargo will head to the eastern coast of the Caspian Sea (Kuryk Port). The wagons will be sent to the Alyat Port, Baku, and finally, arrive in Poti Port.

The wagons will cover 4,186 km distance in 10-14 days (depending on weather conditions).

A total of 21,488 tonnes of aluminum were already shipped via 326 wagons.

A total of 13,585 tonnes wait for the transfer via 209 wagons as part of the long-term project.
