Restrictions set in the second quarter of 2021 have resulted in increasing unemployment in the country, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Natia Turnava declared.
''Positive changes in the economy are reflected in the substantial reduction of the unemployment level and increased job opportunities. An increase in the activity level of the workforce in the second half of 2021 from 50.3 to 51.4 percent and the workforce's increase by 44.1 thousand can be defined as positive phenomena,'' Natia Turnava said.
