Citrus season has started in the region of Adjara, with some earliest ripening mandarin oranges having already been harvested there.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture of Adjara, mandarin oranges are planned to be exported to Central Asia and Baltic states.
The prognosticated harvest amounted to 55-60 thousand tons this year, whereas in 2018, it was 65 thousand tons.
As Ministry of Agriculture of Adjara informs, non-standard mandarin will be received and processed by ltd TCF GEORGIA and Georgian industrial Asset Management Group, with ltd TCF GEORGIA planning to receive 3,000,000 tons, whereas Georgian industrial Asset Management Group will get its unlimited quantity.
