The oil price has increased at the world's leading London and New York oil exchanges under the February 12 trade results.
The Brent oil price reached 55.79 (+ 1.78) USD per barrel at the InterContinental Exchange Futures Europe in London, UK.
The Light Sweet oil price reached 51.17 (+ 1.23) USD per barrel at the York Mercantile Exchange in New York, USA.
The oil price also increased yesterday and neutralized the irreversible process of its depreciation.
In January 2020, oil prices decreased by 10% and continued depreciation.
Specialists say the Coronavirus outbreak in China caused the price drop.
