In the last week of December 21-27, remittances from Azerbaijan to Georgia increased by 78%. In the period of December 14-20, the amount transferred from the neighboring country increased by 59%.

According to the report, for the second week in a row, the amount transferred from Azerbaijan to Georgia increases only by double digits.
As for the rest of the neighborhood, after a noticeable increase in the previous week, cash inflows from Armenia returned to a negative growth rate.
Remittances from Russia decreased by 31% annually.
The growth rate of inflows from Middle Eastern countries (including Turkey) was 5%.
