In compliance with the bans imposed due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, the restaurants in Georgia began operation by non-contact delivery rules.
Restaurant employees say the alternative method still fails to help the business.
Zhana Khorava, a manager of one of the large restaurants in Georgia, says people order almost nothing but only via the menu.ge delivery service.
She says the demand is still low with the delivery service.
''We are experiencing a severe financial loss we will be supposedly unable to compensate for a long time,'' the manager says.
The non-contact delivery service implies that a courier and client do not have direct contact, as the latter informs the courier where to leave the order.
