Georgia consumed 13 billion 153.7 million kWh electric power in 2019, Electricity System Commercial Operator (ESCO) says.

The 2019 rate is less than that of 2018 (13 billion 197.8 million kWh).

Under the ESCO data, the imported power volume increased by 7,8% in 2019, reaching 1 billion 626.5 million kWh.

Georgia received 524.5 million kWh from Russia and 1102.0 million kWh from Azerbaijan in 2019.

The import from Russia increased by 153% whiles the import from Azerbaijan decreased by 10%.

The volume of electricity sold from Georgia dropped by 59% in 2019 (243.4 kWh).
