The SOCAR Company has transferred 200,000 GEL to Georgia's Business Association to support the StopCoV foundation.
The company states it plans to contribute to defeating the COVID-19 pandemic and will continue supporting the foundation.
The company shows readiness to assist the government with other necessary resources.
''As part of the fight against the coronavirus, in parallel to the financial support of the foundation, SOCAR cares for its employees and consumers and follows the recommendations issued by the WHO and Georgian government,'' the SOCAR Company reports, adding it ensures the natural gas supply without any problem.
The contribution by SOCAR is five million GEL to the StopCoV foundation.
The foundation has accumulated 12,5 million GEL in total.
The StopCoV foundation aims to spend the money in a transparent mode for all requirements caused by the pandemic.
