Tbilisi City Municipal Assembly has approved the 2021 budget, with 34 deputy members supporting its approval and two voting against it.
Deputy Mayor Irakli Khmaladze said that the city's budget amounts to GEL 1.1 billion.
A total of 33% of the budget is set to be spent on social and healthcare projects.
According to Mayor Kakha Kaladze, the pandemic related expenses were also accounted for when the budget was drawn up.
The City Hall plans to spend GEL 356 mln on infrastructure projects.
Mr. Kaladze presented the budget to the municipal assembly.
