Head of the Department of the Economic Development of Tbilisi City Hall Andria Basilaia says that the authority will conduct the study of the workforce in 2020.
After the study is completed, Tbilisi City Hall plans to conduct courses of the most required professions and to offer trainings to civilians.
Basilaia says that one of the investors required information about the workforce but the Municipality was unable to provide it with information.
'For example, the investor wanted to know if there were 200 JAVA IT specialists in Tbilisi. Unfortunately, we have no data. Therefore, we should conduct a research that will show us the requirements on the market,' Basilaia stated.
Tbilisi City Hall plans to double expenses for the investment potential growth of Tbilisi in 2020.
The authority has allocated 385,000 GEL for the purposes.
