''We have reached an agreement with Lufthansa that regular flights between Tbilisi and Munich will resume no later than August 2,'' Georgian Minister of Economy Natia Turnava said.

In her words, the flights will be conducted twice a week.

Minister Turnava says negotiations are underway with Air France and Air Baltic airlines.

Georgia may reach an agreement on regular flights with Charles De Gaul airport starting August, and the issue of the flight frequencies remains unresolved.

"Air Baltic will operate in the Baltic States with which the border opens. Riga-Tbilisi flights will be conducted in August,'' Natia Turnava says.

As a reminder, Georgia declared that it has 'unconditionally' opened its border with five European countries: Germany, France, Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia.
