The Chinese Academy of Sciences has released the first images taken by the Earth observation satellite SDGSAT-1. According to Report.ge, Xinhua news agency writes about it.

The satellite captured images from space with multi-spectrum, thermal infrared, and low-light cameras of the Yangtze River Delta region, the Shandong Peninsula, Beijing, Shanghai, and Paris.

SDGSAT-1 is the world's first Earth observation satellite developed by the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

The spacecraft is equipped with multispectral as well as infrared and low light cameras. The device is working properly. Its functional indicators meet the requirements.
