John Lewis has released a new marvelous Christmas advert of the year.
According to Birmingham Live, titled 'Excitable Edgar', the advert - which you can watch below - centres around the theme of bringing people together at Christmas time through delicious food and thoughtful gifts, which show loved ones how much you care.
The story follows a little girl, Ava, who is eagerly preparing for Christmas along with her family and friends. This includes an enthusiastic dragon called Edgar who, unable to contain his excitement for the festivities, is finding it increasingly hard to control his instinct to breathe fire.
Through the film we see the pair attempt to join in with seasonal activities however it doesn't go to plan for the baby dragon.
The hotly-anticipated release of Christmas adverts has become an annual cultural event, with numerous companies vying to raise the bar with campaigns that tug at the heartstrings, says the Independent.
