Joseph Mawle playing the role of Benjen Stark in a high-profile fantasy drama television series Game of Thrones will star in The Lord of the Rings. He will play the series’ lead villain called Oren, opposite Poulter’s young hero Beldor and female lead Tyra (Kavenagh). No other details about the characters have been revealed yet.
The story line of the series has been kept under wraps so far. The action will reportedly take place 3,000 before Peter Jackson's trilogy, with the story line being based on John Tolkien's work.
The project budget is set to hit around $1 billion, with the series planned to be filmed in New Zealand.
