We cannot create an illusion of rapid results after restrictions become effective, head of the NCDC Amiran Gamkrelidze said.
In Gamkrelidze's words, restrictions aim to reduce the spread of the coronavirus.
"Two-month restrictions are planned to be enforced in the country. These restrictions will be rather strict before 24 December, but they will not be immensely strict as we have already learned how to more or less live with the virus," Gamkrelidze said.
Following the decision of the Inter-Agency Coordination Council, Georgia-wide restrictions will be stiffened from 28 November.
