The Autumn Plenary Session is being held in the half-empty hall of the Parliament. Members of the Parliamentary Majority and lawmakers who left Georgian Dream are present in the hall.

Members of the National Movement, European Georgia and the Alliance of Patriots are boycotting the session.

The session was opened by Archil Talakvadze.

"Parliament is the main political mechanism, where important issues must be debated, arguments must be resolved and decisions made. Naturally, the peaceful protest will be protected. But if anyone tries to violate the law or block the administrative buildings the state will have a proper reaction. Parliament is ready to discuss the main political issues. We should sit down and talk about certain things, including the 2020 elections", the Chairperson of the Parliament said.

Some of the Georgian Dream lawmakers have already arrived at the Parliament. Lawmakers entered the building from one of the free entrances. According to the Members of the Majority there should be a constitutional order in the country so that the work of state institutions is not interrupted.

The special unit appeared at the Parliament at 05:00. They made the protesters leave the entrances of the Parliament. Water cannons were also used. Cleaning Service employees cleared Rustaveli Avenue. Traffic has also been restored.

Bureau and plenary sessions are scheduled in the Parliament today. The protesters main aim is to prevent lawmakers from entering the Parliament.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 28 people were arrested at the rally outside the Parliament.

3 citizens received various injuries. The injured were provided with appropriate assistance in medical facilities.
